::Home Is Where the Army Sends Us::

I am a nineteen year old girl from Missoula, Montana. I married my High School sweetheart, Mike, on June 18, 2011 at 18 years old, and just two weeks after my graduation. He is a year and a half older, class of 2010, and had already gone though boot camp at Fort Benning. Now we are living in North Carolina, stationed at Fort Bragg. (Yes, home of the 82nd Airborne). I come from a strong Christian family with parents (whom were also High School sweethearts from the same HS) who have been married 23 years and a little sister who is nearly 13 years younger. I have learned a lot by leaving my small-ish town in Montana, friends and family to move across the country to the South, and a town three times larger where I didn't know anyone. All while balancing becoming an Army wife and perfecting sex. Seeing as how I was a virgin on my wedding night, its a work in progress, but I am pretty darn pleased with us! We got our first addition to our family on August 20, 2011. A 7 week old Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix that we named Ranger. He is my little furry baby and I couldn't love him more! He brings me so much joy and companionship everyday. I have been an Independent Consultant for Scentsy Wickless Candles since November 6, 2010 (the day after I turned 18). I also enjoy running my photography business for the past 3 years. My hobbies include singing, songwriting, reading, playing piano, baking, yoga/pilates and shopping.

Merry Christmas, 2011

Although I am very excited to be able to decorate my own home in my own way for the first time, I do miss home. Being from Montana, it just doesn't feel like Christmas without the snow. It is warmer now than it is in October back home! I hope my husband gets his leave so that we can go home, especailly since we already bought plane tickets, but that was before this deployment popped up. And even though that isn't for a small while (that will go by all too quickly), they say that they are "training" and might take away leave. Poopy face. So in preparation for possibly staying home, last weekend we got a tree and decorated it. I even fought my OCD and control freak traits and didn't move a single ornament that my hubby placed. Even if it wasn't the correct spacing. And I am so happy to be warming "Christmas Cottage" in my new Merry Berry Scentsy warmer! Christmas is my favorite holiday by a long shot, and I am getting giddy with anticipation!
