I'm not really sure what to fill out here, so for now this is going to be pretty basic! We met in high school, dated very briefly (you know how high school romances are), and then remained very close friends until after graduation. We'd harbored feelings for each other the whole time, and with college looming, we finally had the courage to express our feelings. After 2 very hard years at different schools, I transferred, and we spent the remainder of our college years together. He proposed on September 13, 2007, just before the beginning of one of my company's softball games. It was great and unexpected and wonderful! Less than a year later, we bought our first house, almost exactly 1 year before our wedding date! It's a great starter home, and hopefully something we can build up equity in and start our family. We tied the knot on May 2, 2009, in a beautiful ceremony at a local country club (the weather forced my planned patio ceremony indoors, but the huge windows let in lots of light and let us bring the feeling of the outdoors in). It was a whirlwind day, but the whole thing went off perfectly. I couldn't have been happier. Over 2 years later, I still love snuggling up close, feeling safe and warm wrapped in his arms. We've got 2 awesome kitties and Boxer pup, our furry little children for now! Hopefully human babies will be on the way soon enough!
