Maddy and Kevin
Kevin and I recently got married in Springfield, Missouri. It was a beautiful traditional wedding in my grandparents' church near Missouri State University. Kevin was accepted to a law school in St. Louis and so we moved. After looking all over the city of St. Louis, we decided on a super cute apartment in the newly refurbished urban area of The Grove. It is in the heart of the city and is in close proximity to EVERYTHING grand St. Louis has to offer including: The Arch, City Museum, Delmar Loop, Pappy's Famous Barbecue (just to name a few). The Grove is actually a very vibrant night life area--lots of bars, clubs, trendy places to grab a latte and the BEST curry the city of St. Louis can offer (cue Mt. Everest Cafe and Bar).
We currently are enjoying our time in this city, although we're not sure where we'll eventually end up. I will use this site to give updates of our new life as newlyweds! I'll add a couple photos from the past big life events. :) Enjoy!

We took our honeymoon to Tamarindo, Costa Rica! It was gorgeous and SO fun!
Meet Me In St. Louie!
So after our honeymoon, we moved up to STL area because Kev got into law school. Our apartment is this super cute all wood floor apartment with a townhouse layout and feel. It's in the swanky refurbished and revived area named The Grove. It's within convenient distance of work and school!
The Windy City
In November, we took a romantic weekend getaway to Chi Town--away from the hectic busy schedules we have with work and school. We stayed in the beautiful, historic Hotel Burnham, a Kimpton Hotel (named as one of the world's best Boutique hotels to stay at by Travel and Leisure Magazine)! We enjoyed walking around the Loop area of Chicago and Millenium Park (of course we got pictures with The Bean!), we enjoyed some authentic greek gyros at Navy Pier on Lake Michigan, and the BEST Chicago style pizza. Try Pizano's on the Loop! It's delicious!
Big Life Changes!
Haven't written in a while. We've been so busy with new changes that have happened recently. After much prayer and discussion, Kevin has made the decision to end his law school career and pick up where he left off Sophomore year of college: he's finishing his biology degree and subsequently going to take the MCAT for Medical School. We've both been super busy with work and school. I got the opportunity to take a super cheap trip to visit one of my best friends in Florida! It was so fun--Cocoa Beach is a MUST GO-TO spot (stop at Coconuts and try a Miami Vice and their famous coconut shrimp). :) Kevin and I are planning a trip to go visit my sister and Bro-in-law in middle America: Kansas. We're also planning on taking a road trip for our 1 year Anniversary... Any thoughts? No final decisions at this time.
New living space!
Because Kev got into Washington University's Pre-Med/Master's in Research program we've been looking for something a little closer to work and school. We found the cutest apartment off of a really pretty street in the Central West End! We're so excited because it's basically a 10 minute walk or bike ride to my work, as well as to the metro station which Kevin will take to WashU. And did I mention that our apartment is flippin' cute and our street is beautiful?! We move at the end of July! Yay! :)
