My husband and I met contra dancing in Columbus OH and fell in love waltzing, camping and canoeing. After getting a master's in Geology at Ohio State, I headed east (with new husband in tow) to get a PhD in Ecology researching how tropical forests respond to respond to rising atmospheric CO2 given that most tropical soils are actually poor in nutrients. My husband and I maintain still maintain our Solar powered home in Ohio that my husband built to show our children one day and dream of what solar powered home we will build next together when we settle down in a location.
