Forever & Always
I started dating the love of my life on May 19, 2008. We were Seniors in high school, and nobody thought it would last, especially since I was going off to college in the Fall, but I felt so connected to him, in a way I couldn't even describe in words. For Christmas 2010, he bought me a gorgeous pearl ring with sapphires on each side, and gave it to me as a promise ring. I told him that if he were to ask me to marry him, I wanted to use the same ring because I never wanted it off my finger. About six months later he made me give him my ring. He held onto it for about a month, and then on July 11, 2011 we went out for dinner and a late showing of a movie we had both wanted to see. I noticed he started getting really restless toward to end of the movie, but didn't think much of it. We walked back to the parking lot, and as we got close to his truck, he grabbed my arm and held my ring in front of me and asked if I wanted it back. I was somewhat confused, but said "duh, of course I do". Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, to which I replied "Yes! Of course!" :) On our four year anniversary, May 19, 2012, we stood in front of 200 people and read our vows. Neither one of us were nervous, because we were making the right decision, and all we could do was smile. His dad married us, and was the most nervous of anyone. We had the most amazing night and I am so happy to be with the most amazing man in the world, the man that stood by my side through thick and thick the past four years, and who continues to show me everyday why I love him and why I married him. :)
