LOVE > Communication IQ

You've dated, fallen in love, and even made the commitment to spend the rest of your lives together -- so you probably feel pretty confident that you know each other inside and out, right? (Okay, except for that incident in Mexico when you were 21. But that's ancient history!) Chances are your brains are totally in tune, but since your communication style speaks volumes about how you'll handle the ups and downs of married life, why not test your partner comprehension skills with our quiz? (And don't worry -- we've got plenty of expert advice to help you untangle anything that might get lost in translation).

 1. Your husband's been invited to a bachelor party, and even though his own was pretty PG, you know this one's going to get an NC-17. You're nervous your hubby's going to get stuck between a rock and a hard place (or worse, between a bottle of bourbon and a stripper). How do you handle it?

A: Tell him you'd rather he didn't go. Even if he says you've just seen Very Bad Things one too many times, you're not going to let him get dragged into something unsavory without a fight.
B: Tell him to have a great time. You'll probably be up all night worrying and eating Häagen-Dazs, but you feel more comfortable fibbing than coming between him and a good time with the guys.
C: Tell him to have fun -- but not too much fun. You're nervous, and you're willing to admit it, but you trust him to use his moral compass (even after a few drinks).
D: Tell him he's crazy. Of course he can't go! If he wants to see some stripping that badly, you'll bust some moves of your own in the privacy of your bedroom.
