Can’t decide on just one restaurant for Valentine’s Day? Go to three! Pick your favorite restaurants and order a course at each one. Space your reservations at least an hour apart to give you plenty of time to savor each selection. If you’re feeling adventurous, ask for the dessert to go.

  3. Do a Double-Feature Movie Swap

You’ve been meaning to watch each other’s favorite flicks for… forever. So get to it with a double feature. You bring your fave movie and he brings his, then cozy-up to watch the two together. Up your night of film by replacing boring buttered popcorn for a truffle-flavored version, garnished with finely chopped parsley.

  4. Take a Yoga Class

Put on your spandex and get warmed up in a hot yoga class. Even if your guy isn’t totally into it, you’ll think his lack of flexibility is cute, and he won’t be able to stop ogling your butt during down dog. Plus, many studios offer couples-only classes where you two can work together in some very intimate poses.

  5. Play Bartender

Are you regulars at a local bar? Hire your favorite bartender to come to your casa to teach you two and your friends how to make some signature cocktails. Then get to work to see who mixes the best drink.

The quickest way to anyone’s heart is through the stomach, so sign up for a culinary class together and learn how to make a romantic (and garlic-free) dish as you sip your way through a wine-and-cheese tasting, or get messy decorating cakes. Many cooking schools even offer special classes for couples, especially around Cupid’s holiday.

  7. Throw a Game Night

The whispering, the handholding, the nude sculptures—what’s not to love about a stroll around the art museum? Give yourself bonus points if you and your love recreate some of the scandalous artwork once the museum closes.

Your significant other is cute, sure. But as cute as your Pinterest board of puppies? Put the two together for the ultimate in adorable and head to your local animal shelter. Volunteer to walk dogs, dangle strings for kittens, and get covered in wet, slobbery kisses.
