1. DIY Limewash

One of our favorite and most inspiring interior design books, Wabi Inspirations by Axel Vervoordt explores the style and philosophy of the East. Flipping through the pages of the minimalist spaces we are entranced by their warmth. The walls in particular stand out by their textured strokes and inviting earth tones. We've wanted to create walls in this style ever since and have found a DIY that can help achieve the earthly look by using limestone and putty. More eco-friendly than commercial house paints there are many advantages to using limewash.

2. DIY Clothing Ladder

Incorporating a linear ladder in your home is a great way to keep your clothes on display before they hit the hamper as well as showcasing that beautiful handmade shawl of yours. Let's be honest, after one wear in your favorite top you're not ready to send it to the cleaner just yet- it's still got a wear or two left. But you aren't quite ready to put it back in the closet either. This DIY is chic and a great way to air out the laundry.
