  1. Mario Kart: Double Dash

    What it is: Virtual go-kart racing with all your favorite characters, including Mario, Luigi, Peach, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, and Toad.   3. Guitar Hero World Tour

    What it is: Not just for teens -- trust us! Learn to rock out to some of the catchiest songs of all time (think: Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama”), progress through various skill levels, compete in a Battle of the Bands, and use the Music Studio to create your own riffs. Rock on, dudes!

    What it is: They had us at the ability to use our Wii remote as a light saber (!!). Play through all the elements of the six Star Wars movies with fun Lego characters.

    What it is: Apparently, the definitive video game featuring football (or so our guy friends tell us). Madden NFL has been around for 20 years, so they must be doing something right. The ’09 version offers the “most complete NFL football package ever,” but all that matters to us is that it has a great two-player experience.
