How To Grill The Perfect Bone-In Rib-Eye Steak
The tastiest and most tender piece of meat for grilling, is the bone-in rib-eye steak. Why? It's because of its great marbling, this piece is both juicy and flavorful over high heat. Serve up these steaks at your next barbecue and wow your guests!
What You'll Need:
- 1 bone-in rib-eye steak (16 ounces)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
Step 1: Fire-up the grill to 500 degrees F. Rub the piece of steak with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and coriander evenly on both sides.
Step 2: Add the steak to the hot grill and cover the top. Cook for 6 minutes.
Step 3: Flip the steak, cover the top and cook for another 6 minutes for medium doneness.
Step 4: Transfer the steak to a plate and tent with foil and allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Tip: Recipe can be doubled or quadrupled for a larger crowd. And, slice against the grain for the most tender slices.
