Office Tour: How We Live at Viyet

You'd expect that Viyet -- the über-chic online consignment destination for all things home -- would have one killer office. And they sure do! Their Soho headquarters is like design candy land with a mix of collectable vintage pieces and contemporary objects. The verdict: It's swoon-worthy. Feast your eyes on this workspace!

Since the team is mostly women (except for their CTO, Sameer), Viyet's office has a feminine power glam look with a mixture of clean white, Lucite and brass accents. VP of Business Development and PR, Jennifer Koen describes it as, "a fun, young company with a high energy, just-get-it-done work environment."

Working with interior designer, Meryl Fishman Grodnick, the ladies wanted the furniture, accessories and art to do the talking. "Incorporating as many Viyet pieces as possible, we mixed in creative 'budget savers,' to accomplish a perfect blend," says Grodnick. "One way we did this was by spray painting the Ikea desk legs gold, giving a customize feel to a simple white desk." Um, genius!

Grodnick adds: "By running blizzard white cork panels across the desk walls, we gave everyone the opportunity to express themselves in their own personal workspace." (Use this idea at home!)

We love how they added color with goldenrod yellow chairs to a super slicked-up conference room.

Viyet's site gives us serious design envy and Koen agrees: "My favorite part about working at Viyet is meeting with Louise [the co-founder] and the curator team every Friday to review the furniture and accessories going live on our site," she says. "I always love seeing the amazing array of finds and iconic brands. It is truly like a treasure hunt, with the added benefit of always finding treasure at the end!" Can we come to the next meeting?
