'Sex and the City' Set Decorator's Home Would Make Carrie Bradshaw Pretty Jealous
Someone who decided how Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw, Samantha Jones, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York decorate their homes had to have a pretty broad design palate -- enter interior designer Ondine Karady. Ondine was the set decorator for Sex and the City, so you can thank her for Carrie's old-fashioned rotary telephone and Charlotte's impeccable china plates.
Ondine recently gave a tour of her own 1,000 square-foot Brooklyn, New York, apartment to Houzz, and we can definitely see a little of each character in her bright and Art Deco decor range. Another reason to be jealous of her? She has one of Mr. Big's desks in her hallway.
Take a look:
Pops of color with a few alien toys in the mix makes for one seriously cool living room.
We love the juxtaposition of a sleek marble table with futuristic chairs.
Look and weep: It's Mr. Big's fabulous Art Deco desk (paired with an equally stunning mirror).
This bedroom provides the perfect design inspiration for anyone who wants to combine mid-century modern accents with a jewel-toned bedspread.
