Celebrate the Big Game With A DIY Megaphone
Celebrate the big game in style this year. Mini megaphones make a great accent to your party spread and useful favors for your guests! Craft a few in no time with a few basic paper supplies.
What You'll Need:
- Black construction paper
- Gold tissue paper
- Glue stick
- Pen or pencil
- Tapered beer glass
- Letter stickers or team logo (optional)
Step 1: Use a pen to trace the top and bottom of the glass as you roll it across the paper.
Step 2: Cut out the shape that you traced.
Step 3: Roll up your paper into a cone and glue the sides together to create a cone.
Step 4: Hold your cone in place to let it dry for a couple minutes. Set aside and move on to the next step.
Step 5: Cut a small piece of thin rectangular black paper from the paper leftover from the cone.
Step 6: Bend your piece of rectangular paper into a handle shape and glue to the cone. Let dry.
Step 7: Cut a thin strip of gold tissue paper and fringe with fringe scissors (or regular scissors with more cuts). Leave an area at the top where the fringe is all attached.
Step 8: Glue the fringe inside the megaphone.
Step 9: Let the megaphone dry. Optionally you can add sticker letters with “Go Team" or “#1". Or add your team's logo to the outside to really customize the megaphone!
Make just one, a couple, or a dozen for all your friends so you can get loud during the big game!
